The read-only preview
When it turns on
The project goes read-only as soon as you preview a version: you clicked a version's card to look at it without committing anything. The content is presented exactly as it was captured.
What you see
- A read-only banner across the full width, between the toolbar and the panels, naming the version you are viewing.
- A Read only pill where the unsaved-changes indicator usually sits.
What you can and cannot do
- You can do anything that only reads: browse the panels and statistics, search, consult the agendas and computed times, and export (Help stays available too). An export then writes exactly what is on screen.
- You cannot write: editable fields, add and delete buttons, pickers simply disappear — they are not greyed out, they are withheld. Any half-started edit is cleared on entering the preview.
How to leave
The banner offers two ways out:
- Start from this version — restore it, your way to branch from an older state;
- Back to the current version — leave the preview without changing anything.
